August, 2000 Trip to Hershey KOA and Hersheypark, PA

Mom stayed home while the boys, their friends and I visited Hershey Park and the Hershey KOA. This was our first trip to the Hershey KOA and I loved it.

With four eager boys, setup was a snap. All I had to do was supervise!

      Hooking up the water...

Kunal helps crank up the top...

      Setting up the beds...

All finished with setup, time to play in the field!

Here's our campsite at Hershey KOA.

Kunal shows Scott, Keith and Cody how to play cricket.

Checking out the new "dueling coasters" at Hersheypark.

Dueling coasters - two trains are launched at the same time and race each other through a series of intertwining curves. This was fun!

Keith and Kunal watch the rides.

Scott and Cody on the Coal Cracker.

The boys check out the Falcon.

Here's the Sidewinder. We road this over, and over, and over...

Posing in front of the Sidewinder, an official Kodak photo spot!

The boys check out a percussion performance that used trash cans, road signs, and other "everyday objects".

This is the "get wet zone" for the Tidal Wave water flume ride. Here, the boys get ready for a soaking.

      Here comes the water...

      Soaked!

Now that they're soaked, time for a ride...

      Coming down the big hill...

      SPLASH!

      Now they are thoroughly soaked!

Just before closing, time for one more ride on the Coal Cracker.
